No. The FireSafe has no expiration date and requires zero maintenance. No pressure checks, no annual inspections, no replacement schedule. Stow it in your pack and forget about it until you need it.

The blanket itself is 100 cm x 100 cm (40" x 40"). Packed in its light-reflective pouch, it's roughly the size of a water bottle and slips into a standard bottle sleeve. It weighs 575g (about 1.25 lbs).

The FireSafe is a single-use emergency tool. After deployment, replace it. The silicone coating and Kevlar stitching are designed to survive one critical intervention — not to be repacked and relied on again.
